This morning Dean came in the Big House and went straight for the cars, then moved on to pouring and scooping beans in the bean bucket. Some dinosaurs had made their way into the beans too, and, boy, were they stomping around! Rhys began at the writing center, then took a turn with the cars while Dean was busy with the dinosaurs. Cam got our restaurant going first thing. He set up the plates and supplies carefully. As soon as the restaurant was set and ready for other friends to use, Cameron moved to the shape puzzles. Ella O. joined Cam with the shape puzzles, while Riley started working and shaping the playdough.
Outside, Vivian, Ella, and Collin were showing off their moves! The group was movin’ and groovin’! The action moved to the bike path as Dean and Rhys joined the group. The bike races began with a whoosh! Riley joined in on foot, racing along the path. Riley and Ella O. even went over the bridge! Dean and Alex raced around, up and down, and all over. Anthony and Rhys also enjoyed the bike path together for a little while. Some of the riders weren’t in it for speed, though. After the races had slowed down a bit, Maddy and Cameron took a long, long ride to a secret place! After their journey, the two climbed to the top of the tower for a fun-filled birthday party!
Meanwhile, the tower was steadily filling with ice cream and lollipops as Ava and Riley crafted the sweet treats. Ella was also very busy, but her work was at her office. She and her computer were working away, keeping her business booming. Collin decided it was picture time for him and stuck some fantastic poses.
The sandbox was full of wonderful muck today. Ella and Collin saw that this muck was perfect for making spaghetti! Anthony lent a hand to Ben and soon their big metal bowl was overflowing with glorious muck. Ava was in charge of cooking. She made sure everything was stirred to perfection in her giant bowl. Vivian helped by adding more water, bits at a time. Ella O. and Riley started out with some painting, but then had to get in on the action with the muck as well! Ella O. sang a little song as she climbed into the sandbox. Riley did a little more water pouring, then joined in the sandbox work, helping her friends with a smile.
Welcome to a new week! Enjoy your evening!
