This morning we had a large bunch of tractors that needed an airport! Dean and Alex set to work and built a fantastic airport with room for each and every tractor. While they were working, Cole made some calls on the black phone. After his construction job, Alex moved to the art room because Emma had arrived and was doing some stamping. The two used butterfly stamps with yellow paint to make some beautiful pieces. They even added purple glitter!
Out in front, Maddy and Cole climbed to the top of the tower. The tower was actually a rocket ship! The two blasted off with Cole singing out, “We’re going on a rocket ship! We’re going on a rocket ship!” Maddy reminded him to not be quite so loud, and they were off! Below the tower, Alex and Bronwen were busy sliding down the slide. They were having such a great time that their friend, Ella O., also joined in. After some sliding, Ella O., joined Rhys and Kaito for some running. The speedy runners also included Vivian, Alex, Ben, and Cole. Riley and Emma took a few turns on the slide, and then they were off running as well. Some of the herd got very creative with their running. Rhys, Vivian, Alex and Ava sped around the bike path as a variety of animals. They were a zoo on the move, complete with roaring, growling, and even some cock-a-doodle-doo’s!
Superheros and housemakers were also in the mix. Maddy and Cole moved from their rocket ship journey to playing house. Even superheroes have to take care of their homes! Maddy and Cole did just that, while Rhys stopped to smell the plants in the garden.
Another highlight of today was a visit from our beloved music lady, Carolyn! It was a fantastic time and we can’t wait to see her again soon!
