Welcome to our new school year here at In a Child’s Path!! We are all very excited to be together. We are ready to learn and grow! The art room was a popular place to be this morning. Dean and Riley started off their day in the art room with painting. Vivian, Alex and Bronwen also chose to get creative as they settled into their first day at school.
Riley found the writing center and got right to work with the paper and markers. Maddy chose to do some kindergarten work to start her day.
Nearby the writing center Cole and Dean were having fun with the cars! The cars were very busy and, of course, fast! Dean even got some blocks out to use with the cars. Anthony took a peek at the cars, but then decided to tend to the baby. He took very good care of the baby, even with all those speedy cars around!
In the front, the slide was a blur as Ben, Bronwen, and Maddy slid down it again and again! Rhys and Anthony joined in the fun and took their turn with the slippery sliding. Over on the bike path, Maddy got her legs going on the trailer bike. Riley and Bronwen were her lucky passengers and got a free ride around the path. As Maddy zoomed around carefully with her precious cargo, Alex, Vivian, Collin, Ella, and Kaito got together a hilarious game of Red Light, Green Light. They were right next to the path!
After all the running, jumping, sliding, and pedaling, some of the group moved to the back. It was time for more creative fun. Ella O., Vivian, Ella, and Bronwen did some crazy painting with dog toys and blue paint. Kaito, Cole, Collin, and Alex worked together in the sandbox, while Rhys had a great time pouring water and working at the big easel. Anthony, Maddy, Ava, Dean, Ben, and Riley also joined in the water fun. They were pouring and splashing all over the place!
