This morning was one for some very special art! Nerissa, Daphne, Maddy, and Chloe were busy in the art room with the paint and…dog toys! The girls made great use of the toys, rolling and splashing their papers with beautiful colors. Kaito chose the magnetic shapes to express himself and tried out some new building formations. Rhys was busy zooming cars up and down the floor like a professional driver! A few feet away, Anthony was gently pouring and scooping beans. He was having such a great time that he couldn’t help but add some dancing as he worked! Cameron and Cole had their own work to do with the playdough. They rolled and squished to their heart’s content.
Out in front, a large group of dragons was seen frolicking. Reed, Nerissa, Oscar, Chloe, Zack, and Maddy were amazing dragons, breathing fire and flying. The dragons made a great team and had a house together. One by one, dragon family members flew swiftly from the house in search of food then returned to share with the group. Maddy and Chloe turned into dogs to keep an eye on all the dragons. Whenever one stray dragon would run away, then faithful dogs would follow and make sure the dragon returned home to the family.
Superheroes were also seen at the Big House today. Cole, Cameron, and Kaito showed off their super strength and fantastic speed. The whole group felt much safer with them around. Ella, Daphne, and Gabby were decided to be princesses. Princess Merida was a popular choice today, with her flowing red hair and spunky spirit.
The group is buzzing with anticipation for graduation tomorrow of our friends that are headed to kindergarten. Chloe sang a beautiful goodbye song to her friends in the tower as they played house. She promised to Gabby and Maddy that she would come back and visit. The title of the song was “I Am Gonna Be Back Someday.”
Down below the serenade, friends were very busy! Anthony used the big green ball. Rhys joined in with him as they rolled and bounced the big balls. They had a blast running around and slipping down the slide with huge grins. Kaito, Cam, Cole, and Collin had a grand time creating a tire obstacle course. They worked together to build their course, then had a wonderful time running through it and cheering each other on. The tires were also used for preschool bootcamp! Nerissa, Oscar, Reed, Zack, Rhys, Daphne, Ella were very inventive and created many different versions of what they thought of for bootcamp activities. With tires, plenty of imagination, and oodles of energy, invented countless different exercises and showed off their ideas to each other.
