This morning was a busy one! Bronwen was in the art room shaping and forming the clay with care, then moved to painting with red paint and glitter! Cameron and Dean were working with the cars. The boys lined them up, zoomed them around, and had races. The blocks also sparked their imaginations, so they grabbed a few and brought them into their work. After a little while, Bronwen completed her work in the art room and joined Dean with the legos for more building and creating.
The friends were also showing their skills as care-takers. Maddy, Cole, and Cameron carefully put together books for Cooper buddy. Ella O. chose a very lucky baby to take for a walk in the stroller. Vivian and Bronwen saw how much fun the baby was having, so they decided to join in. Each girl chose a baby and placed them in a wicker basket to carry as they took their morning walks.
The next stop for the group was the locker room. It was time for a bear hunt!! Everyone was full of ideas and suggestions for how to get into the house, where to live, and what to do. Ella brought up that we should sleep in our room, while Cameron had the idea to bake cookies. Alex also chimed in with his idea to drive a truck!
Out in front, there was ice cream galore. Ava and Bronwen were our expert ice cream creators. They made blueberry ice cream and apple ice cream, and then sold it to their friends. Alex took them up on their offer and sampled the delicious treat. Ella added another tasty option by giving away cake to her friends!
After loading up with energy from the cake and ice cream, the group charged into the yard. Riley, Ben, Anthony, and Ella O. took on the obstacle course. They were working hard as they stepped through tires, sprinted around obstacles, crawled through the tube, and slipped down the slide for a grand finale. Some of the friends included the bikes in their course. Ella O. hopped on a bike and pedaled down the path. Vivian, Maddy, Collin, Dean, Cameron, and Cole thought bike riding was a great idea, so they grabbed bikes of their own and got moving. Kaito chose the trailer bike and gave rides to his friends.
Out in the back, Ella, Ava, and Bronwen were getting creative with the hot glue and art supplies. Riley and Ben were also showing their creativity at the big easel with the paint. Ella O. and Alex decided to do some painting, adding water with eye droppers to their masterpieces.
The sandbox was also filled with creative genius! Cam, Maddy, Kaito, Cole, Dean and Collin jumped in and got their hands dirty! Anthony and Vivian also joined in the fun. They practiced scooping and pouring, compared amounts of sand, experimented with water to change how their sand structures held up, and talked with each other about their work.
Enjoy your evening!!
