There was much work to be done this morning! Rhys and Riley set up our beautiful restaurant, prepared delicious breakfast, and even tended to the babies! Alex and Ella O. were busy with puzzles right away, with Ella O. singing away as she worked. After finishing up at the restaurant, Rhys moved to working with the play dough with his friend Dean. Riley scooped and poured the beans, while Emma told Anke a story. Between greeting friends and working with the play dough, Dean stocked his stroller with food and took it for a morning walk around the restaurant. Vivian came in and was at once welcomed by Riley and Dean. The trio moved to the art room for some painting fun. Cole and Ella joined the party in the art room, while Vivian, Rhys, Camille and Riley made progress with their writing skills at the writing center.
Out in front, today was a day for races. Ella O. lead the way, racing all over the place. Riley, Camille, Emma, and Ben joined in with her at amazing speeds! The bike path was also a blur with racing bikes. Cole, Maddy, Rhys, Ava, and Kaito hopped on their bikes and pedaled away. Dean even gave rides on the trailer bike. Rhys and Vivian had their own races, rolling the tires back and forth across the yard.
Amongst all the athletes today, we had some frog visitors. Riley and Emma were the most wonderful frogs you’ve ever seen. Riley told Anke that she and Emma were frogs “all day.” We also had super hero visitors! Cole, Maddy and Kaito were flying around the school, doing good, taking on adventures, and keeping everyone safe. The super heroes spotted Ella O. on the bike path as she moved along on her scooter. They joined her on the bike path in their own super hero vehicle!
In the back, Vivian, Bronwen, Alex, Emma, and Ella O. had a delightful time making volcanoes of all colors with vinegar and baking soda! Ava worked on hot gluing nearby. Dean and Rhys were also on the deck, but they were painting at the big easel with shaving cream! In the sandbox, Cole and Kaito had a picnic!
