The writing center was a busy place this morning! Riley started her day there, using stamps and markers on her paper. Camille and Vivian chose some stamps as well and covered their papers in beautiful designs. After she finished her stamping work, Riley meandered over to the mirror for some dancing! As she walked past Rhys, he was building with the blocks and zooming with the cars. Ella O. joined in with the blocks, then added some cars as well. Otto, our stuffed horse, was nearby, so Ella O. took a break from building to read Otto a story and to sing a few songs to him. Next door in the art room, Vivian, Riley, and Emma decided to use their artistic skills to do some painting. The water colors they chose swirled and twirled on their papers as they carefully moved their brushes.
Out in the front, Anthony, Ben, Camille, and Riley raced to the slide. They took turns climbing up, then sliding down with glee. On the bike path, Maddy, Cameron, Vivian, Collin, Rhys and Ella were showing their speedy bike skills. They were determined to pedal up and over the hill without having to stop and walk their bikes. They chatted and cheered each other on, then decided do get a few races in. Next, the group set up an obstacle course and took turns racing through.
In the back, the hot glue was flowing as Maddy and Cam decided to get creative. The two had a great idea to cut up some of the necklaces in the art supplies so they would have smaller pieces to add to their creations. Just down the steps, Anthony was getting creative too, with some water pouring. A big group headed to the sandbox, so Anthony soon hustled over to join in. Camille, Ben, Alex, Vivian, Rhys, and Ella O. were busy in the sandbox having a blast! Some of the group also worked on painting on the deck in between spurts of sandbox construction.
Inside, Riley and Emma made an excellent team as they sweetly cared for the babies. Between the two attentive caregivers, the babies were really getting the royal treatment. Nearby, Ben worked on scooping and pouring the smooth, brown beans, while Ella O. and Alex had more fun with the blocks and cars.
Have a fantastic evening!
