This morning, Rhys came in and started off his morning at the writing center. After practicing his writing skills, Rhys climbed in the airplane and took flight! He flew high and low, near and far, all with a chipper smile on his face. Maddy and Daphne started their days with some art activities in the art room, while Collin zoomed the cars around the room. Maddy, Ella, and Vivian showed very tender care for the babies, preparing food in the kitchen and keeping a very tidy house.
In the front, Nate and Chloe had cheese on the brain. This was, of course, because they were mice! The two mice scurried around, asking their friends for their favorite food, cheese! All around the mice, the tires and balls were rolling and bouncing like crazy. Chloe kicked the big grey ball to Anke, and back and forth it went. Oscar, Rowan and Nate thought the big ball looked fun, so they joined in the passing game. Reed and Rhys grabbed the tires and busily rolled them all around the yard, over bumps and around obstacles.
Up in the tower were Mila and Seren. The two were being sisters whose mother had died. They were very poor. Without much money, they had to hunt for food. They also wrote a story together about their experience. Down below on the bike path, friends were working together. Maddy gave Daphne a delightful ride on the trailer bike.
Later on, the hot glue was flowing as Nate and Chloe created and experimented. Rowan joined in and added his own artistic flair. Seren and Mila were also making some masterpieces with the water paints on large sheets of paper. They used gentle, careful brush strokes with fantastic results. Ella and Gabby used the big easel for their creations. Vivian, Reed, and Oscar took to painting with purpose. In an exciting hunt for crystals, the trio painted maps to lead them to their treasure. Rhys also joined in the painting, and then decided to experiment with pouring water. Nearby in the sandbox delicious treats were being made. Daphne and Maddy made heavenly cakes, gooey with chocolate, dripping with vanilla and topped with rich fudge. Yummy!!
