This morning Cameron and Vivian got their day started with some creative work at the writing center. The markers flew across the page as they practiced their writing, as well as drew some magnificent pictures. Riley and Camille strolled by with the babies as they enjoyed their morning walk. As they walked, they admired the handiwork at the writing center, then walked past Dean who was having a wonderful time with the cars and blocks. He built and toppled, then built again. The cars zoomed along his roads and around his buildings. Alex came in and got to building as well. He used the magnetic shapes for his creations.
Next, the group moved into the locker room and suited up for some time in the fresh air. They air was chilly, so they group was off running and jumping to get out the wiggles and stay warm. We had running races, hopping races, and jumped in a line. After several laps around the yard, noses started getting a little nippy, so the group headed inside for more adventures.
Upstairs, the dinosaurs were out and about. Maddy and Cameron built an entire city for those lucky dinosaurs. They carefully stacked the buildings and laid out the roads. Several animals were also living in the city. Anthony came over to help out with the blocks, while Maddy and Cameron moved to the Bear Cave for some reading time. Ella and Collin made their way to the kitchen and put our cooking supplies to good use. Alex joined in the cooking party and whipped up a few dishes of his own. Riley and Dean walked by the kitchen on their way to the bean station where they had a blast scooping and pouring the beans from all sorts of containers.
Several of the friends moved downstairs with Cecy. Ben headed for the train tracks and built his own train station. Dean got creative with the ball track pieces and had a blast rolling balls down, one after another. Emma, Vivian, Ava, and Riley started out with some hockey, and then they noticed the balance beam was out a ready to go. The group took turns walking carefully down the foam beam, then trying out a few silly walks to spice things up. Camille, Elsa, and Ella Jude were nearby in the kitchen. They built a table for their food, then got supplies together for a picnic. Collin and Ella had made their way downstairs and headed straight for the castle. They were a majestic king and queen and took excellent care of their subjects. A few minutes later, Alex also joined the group downstairs. He found his friend Camille and they had a wonderful time playing puppies together and frolicking through the picnic area.
Have a fantastic evening!
