Dean started out this morning with a great Lego building adventure. He picked out the Lego dragon to join in! The dragon needed a barn right away, so Dean grabbed a few blocks, added a few Legos, and soon had a magnificent barn ready for the dragon. Next, he made his way to the kitchen, set up our breakfast table and made some delicious breakfast for all the animals! Asha arrived and promptly sat down at the breakfast restaurant to start her day. Alex and Maddy came in and noticed how tasty the breakfast set-up looked, so they pulled up chairs and joined Asha. Once she had eaten her fill, Asha made her way to the art room. Elsa was painting away and welcomed Asha to join her. Next the two moved to the playdough table for some sculpting fun.
Out in front, the group got moving and grooving on this sunny morning. Elsa climbed all the way up the rock wall by herself, then slid proudly down the slide with a grin. Dean found the sun in his eyes to be a bit much, so he headed for the black tube and crawled through for some shade. Asha ran by as he crawled out. She sped all the way to the bike path, took a few laps around, then made her way back to the front. She found Cameron and Maddy there busy building a house. This wasn’t just any house. The two were building a Halloween house using the cones, tires, and balls. Emma and Vivian were getting their energy out with some running as well. “It’s party time!!” they announced loudly to their friends. Then, they scurried up the ladder to the top of the house and started their dance party.
On the bike path, the children were racing by! Collin hopped on a scooter and sped along behind Ella on her bike. Anthony and Ella Jude ran up and down the bridge in between bikers. Alex ran up and picked out a bike to ride as well. Camille found her spot at the bus stop, but today it was an ice cream shop! Dean and Vivian chipped in to make sure each biker had a tall, ice cream cone to keep their energy up.
Cameron spied the trailer bike and decided to give Rhys a ride. Next, Maddy came along and hopped in the trailer. Rhys and Cam swapped and Rhys gave his friends a few rides around the path.
In the back, Ella was busy at the hot glue station making a magic wand and amazing treasures. Ella Jude was nearby at the art table painting away with the silly dog toys. Alex and Asha were also interested in the painting project and created a few of their own masterpieces. Collin decided to do some painting as well, but he was at the big easel with Elsa. They two took turns with the paint, then were delighted when Anke came along to add shaving cream to the mix. Emma joined in with the shaving cream and painted a rainbow on the easel.
Between the crew in the sandbox and in the house, there were so many exciting things going on! Dean got out the long, black tubes and used them for a hose because he was saving the day as a fireman! Vivian skipped by on her way to the sandbox to make vanilla pies. Anthony and Elsa joined in as well. Camille knew Dean was working up an appetite so she cooked him up a fantastic dinner of celery!
