Our animals have been getting lots of attention this week. Our animal doctors have been very attentive, but today there was a different need. Our animals need a barn, of course. Riley and Dean came in and were ready to get the job done. They were so very busy building one, huge barn. Dean said, “I am making a big farm.” Riley pitched in with building materials, including some sturdy blocks. Braeden used the blocks and cars to build his own little town next to the barn. Alex joined Braeden and the two boys built a fantastic car track. Ben arrived and joined in too! After he finished his building contribution, Ben had a mission. He was a pet doctor for a very sick elephant. Ben gave the elephant a shot to help him feel better.
Many other friends were busy as well. Vivian solved the Dora puzzle with ease—she’s been practicing! Alex grabbed the dreidel and got them spinning and spinning on the big table. Maddy was also at the big table with the counting pegs. Asha was nearby at the writing center making a special picture for her mom. Camille headed to the bear cave with her babies after morning walk. They needed breakfast, so Dean hopped in the kitchen and got cookin’. He whipped up toast and eggs and served it to the babies.
In the front, the group got to moving. Riley was balancing on the grey ball like a professional! Anthony was taking on the obstacle course. He sped by, taking another lap before going through the course again. Braeden and Riley saw how much fun he was having and tagged along. Asha ran several laps from the bike path to the front, and then hopped through the obstacle course to mix things up. Bronwen was the queen of the slide! She climbed up and slid down over and over.
On the bike path Ava and Maddy were being very generous. They gave every friend who came by a free ride on the trailer bike. Between rides, Ava was a flying unicorn named Moonlight who was very beautiful and had many adventures. Dean was on a very speedy bike ride, while Vivian cheered him on until it was her turn for a ride. Camille was posted on the tree stump at the edge of bike path. “Ice cream!” she called. She had to pause briefly for supplies, but then continued handing out cones to the hungry bikers as the sped by. Alex was also cooking up some tasty treats. He first went fishing for a blue fish, then cooked it up and offered it to Anke while he cast his pole again for more fish.
In the sandbox, Dean and Asha made scrumptious birthday cakes! They weren’t making little cupcakes; they made a huge cake to share! Maddy also hopped in the sandbox and started her own cooking projects. Vivian lent a helping hand and the two baked up a vanilla cake for Anke.
Golf ball painting was also a popular activity today. Riley and Anthony took a turn rolling and bouncing the golf balls on their papers. The red and blue paints made fantastic designs. Braeden and Alex were next and hug their finished masterpieces proudly.
Have a fantastic evening!!
