This morning, the bunny hop was the first order of the day. Cameron and Rhys jumped into action, with Cameron leading and Rhys following along gleefully. Anthony also got things moving as he grabbed a wand, put on a lovely skirt, and danced to his heart’s content. Ella O. also joined in the party and showed off her moves. Anthony showed her his twirling skills!
Dean and Vivian decided to start their day with pouring the beans together, while Rhys worked with the magnetic shapes. Asha and Riley worked next to them at the writing center. Cameron and Maddy also worked at the writing center. They made a few signs for the hair salon to tell when it was closed and when it was open.
Camille came in and spotted her friend Vivian pouring beans, so she went over to join her and say good morning. Emma also spent some time at the bean station with her friends. After her work there was done, Emma went over to the art room where she found Ella O. Emma and Ella O. worked on painting together while singing a few songs.
Out in front, Dean and Emma dried the slide off for their friends. Alex also wanted to help get things set for some serious playing, so he reorganized the cones a few times until they were just right. The next step was to count the cones to make sure everything was in order. Then, Camille came over and the two worked together to place the cones in a row. Ella and Emma galloped by the perfect row of cones because they were being ponies. Soon, Emma was Ariel and Ella was her pet pony, Belle. Emma took very good care of her beloved pony and saw to her every need.
On the bike path, Vivian was ready to get going so she offered rides on the trailer bike. Cameron and Maddy got a ride first and had a glorious time. Rhys rode by as well on his fast riding, speedy bike. Dean was the proud leader of the bike pack and got everyone involved. Collin rode by while having a giggle-fit. The more he pedaled, the more he laughed! The bikes weren’t the only speedy things around! Ella O. was a cheetah, quick as lightning. Asha and Riley were also gaining speed as they practiced on the obstacle course. They were running, then jumping, then climbing up the rock wall.
In the back, Ella O., Collin, Vivian, and Asha got into their painting very seriously. Today they used golf balls to get the goopy paint all over their papers with beautiful designs. Next, they used a few paintbrushes to add the finishing touches. Rhys also had a blast with the golf ball painting. He loved moving around the box top that held his paper and watching the golf ball roll and dance in the paint. Dean and Anthony noticed how much fun he was having so they joined in. Camille saw one little golf ball that gotten away, so she grabbed it and put it back in the mix with the paint. Riley’s painting was for her dad, with love. Asha’s picture was made for her mom!
Cameron was in the bike house with Maddy and Ella as they chatted and chatted. They discussed what to do with paint and soap, how to put the paint on, and what to do last. They came to the conclusion that the last step would definitely be to wash off the soap. Next, the trio worked at water pouring making delicious lemonade for themselves. They added more sugar, then more juice, until the mix was just right.
Dean and Camille were in the sandbox working on a big project for Vivian. They were building her a house! They are very hard workers.
Have a wonderful evening!
