This morning the Art Room was full of activity; Nerissa, Ariel, Lucy and Hadley were all excitedly painting with the blue paint- most of the girls ended up with paint on more than just their papers Madeline was busy sculpting clay. Lucy joined her and the girls chatted while they worked. Henry worked on games at the table solo until Carson and Cooper arrived to join him. Emmett talked with Katie about his potential Halloween costume ideas. Nate and Jack sat next to each other at the Writing Center working on various projects. When it was time, Madeline helped Katie get breakfast on the table and when everyone was seated Nate enthusiastically shared about the party he went to over the weekend.
In the front, our school was filled with a variety of community service workers. Quinn, Henry and Jack were superheroes, Max was a dispatcher and Emmett a police officer. Erica and Nerissa climbed to the top of the play structure where they chatted and hollered down to their friends. Hadley was a kitty and Ariel was her owner. Cy and Nate were hangin’ out together all over the school yard.
In the back, Madeline and Goose were trading crayons to make crayon melts. Carson, Hadley, Cooper, Ariel, Jack and Cy all made bubble art. Nate used the water buckets. Erica, Nerissa, Emmett, Quinn, Henry and Reed were in the sandbox with Emmett in charge of the hose.
