This morning Isabella busied herself at the writing center with Cameron, the duo made snowflakes. Bennett and Chloe rolled, patted and shaped our pink play dough while Nerissa and Erica were in the art room making good use of our paints. When Oscar arrived he fed our fish and then helped Katie to get the table ready for breakfast.
When we got outside Ariel and Hadley became Christmas performers- singing their hearts out. Bennett and Collin proclaimed the tower a pirate ship and themselves pirates. Oscar and Reed morphed into super super cheetah ninjas and ran quick as they could. Cameron advised Katie, “Katie, you are a baby.” with the hopes that she would chase after him- which she did. The other children were quick to join in on the fun and they ran all over the yard. Chloe, Nerissa, Erica and Rachel were all kittens and Rock was a mouse with no money for food, books or a house. He told everyone that passed by him that he really needed money for a house. Instead of giving the mouse their money the children and kitties headed to a nearby ice cream shop ran by Keira and Bennett.
When we came inside to explore Ariel, Reed, Hadley, Oscar and Nerissa decorated their house (aka the loft downstairs) for Hanukah. Nerissa and Oscar sang a Hanukah Christmas song. Then Ariel turned on some music for Hanukah. Meanwhile Rachel and Bella Boo tended to the babies in the kitchen. After feeding and holding the little ones, Rachel read them books. Chloe set up the farm and barn animals while Bennett lined the cars up all in a row for a race. Keira got all dressed up and admired herself in the mirror then joined Bennett to race the cars. Afterwards Keira sat with Chloe and the girls chatted as they played with the farm animals.
