This morning, Cyrus, Erica and Bennett poured and dug in the bucket of rice. When the rice inevitably found its way to the floor, the three friends each grabbed a broom and swept it up. Meanwhile, Chloe and Nate worked at the writing center. In the art room, Erica, Nerissa and Chloe painted with yellow paint. The girls eventually asked for glitter to decorate their paintings.
When we headed outside, Reed instantly morphed into Captain America. Our very own Super Hero showed off his super cool Spiderman sweatshirt. Cameron and Collin crouched behind the black tube and peeked over the top, teasing Katie calling her name and ducking back behind the tube. Confused, Katie walked towards the tube. The boys screamed and took off towards the bike path. Nerissa and Erica were riding their ballet horses around while Clarkley, the loyal puppy, sat dutifully near Anke. Hadley announced that she was a Princess and that she was not to be disturbed in her castle. Nate and Cy were pirates. Their ship was anchored near the bike path while they searched for booty in the bark chips. Collin and Rock were pretending to be snowmen while Bennett played with the giant, blue exercise ball.
After a while, we headed inside to escape the chilly weather. Reed headed for the rice bucket while Nate, Collin, Hadley and Cyrus made pizza out the pink play dough. Rock busied himself at the writing center. Nerissa, Erica and Reed kept Cyrus, Bennett and Nate company while they worked in the art room.
