This morning, Dr. Dean and Dr. Riley were working wonders in the animal rescue clinic. Dean was attending to the animals’ hungry stomachs by making breakfast and feeding each animal. Dr. Riley was bringing much needed medicine to the sick and hurt animals. They were good as new after this doctor team finished their job! After Dean’s animal care duties were taken care of, he moved to the play dough table with Braeden. They boys worked together to make cookies and all sorts of baked goodies.
The hot glue station was up and running in the art room. Cameron and Vivian were working away on their masterpieces. Cameron had a plan in mind for his creation. He was making a birthday present for his cousin J.J. Vivian decided to make a present too! She made an extra special piece just for her mama. Alex was also working away with his creative skills, but he chose Legos as his medium. He built an amazing Lego house! Ben came over and pitched in on the construction project. Once complete, Ben moved to the writing center and made his own map.
The babies were getting hungry and needed some attention, so Anthony jumped in to help. He took care of their needs, fed them, and even made a phone call at the same time! What a multi-tasker! Maddy and Cameron joined in. They got the dishes out and had the table all set for a delicious breakfast in a jiffy.
Part of the group headed down to the lower level with Cecy for more adventures. Dean was a “nice firefighter.” Firefighter Dean took a break from fighting fires to hop on George the Giraffe for a ride. He got to feeling a little silly and pretended to fall off! But George was still there waiting for him to climb back up with a smile. Ella made a lovely Snow White, complete with her loyal and sweet pet kitty, Ava. The two retreated to the loft, where Anthony came to join them for a visit with Prince Collin. Just below them, in the kitchen, Maddy and Cameron were whipping up eggs and pancakes. Yummy!!
Plenty of building projects were happening as well. Ben and Alex were having a blast building very complicated train track combinations. Riley was building with the wooden ramps. She grabbed a few cars, and zoomed them down the ramps. The group upstairs was also really getting into building. Braeden built a house with the magnet tiles. Vivian joined him and they made a cake with the magnets left over. Anthony made his way upstairs, and then got into the building spirit by stacking the blocks into a very tall building.
Several friends decided today was a good day to be princesses! Bronwen and Emma donned their fanciest gowns. even while dressed up, there was still work to be done. A few of the animals in our clinic weren’t feeling as well as they had earlier in the morning. The princesses rolled up their sleeves and set to work. Vivian and Dean joined in the efforts to get everyone taken care of.
