This morning Lewis arrived and began playing with the magnetic shapes. After a while he decided to incorporate the Lego’s and cars into his project, he was building a garage. When Ruby arrived she began working and cooking in the restaurant before she joined Lewis at the table to make happy cakes for her friends. Reed and Chloe made a beeline for the camera. While the two friends took pictures, Bella built with the magnetic shapes and told anyone willing to lend an ear about the super cool fire fighting book she brought to school. Rachel walked in, waved hello to her friends and joined Reed at the writing center. She concentrated hard while she cut, glued and stenciled.
Outside, Reed and Zach fashioned a car with two steering wheels. There was a bit of confusion as to where the boys were headed but it didn’t’ take them long to fall in steering sync with one another. Nerissa, Eliana, Mila and Ariel mewed, purred and hissed at each other as they tried to figure out their cat family dynamic. Reed announced to the feline family that he was a dog that morphed into a super cheetah at will. At this, the cats scattered and Reed commenced to chase them. Bella, Cooper and Rachel kicked the giant exercise ball to one another while Ruby, Chloe and Maddy were “playin’ some toys.” Rock exuberantly advertised his delicious cakes and cookies. They were outrageously priced, but well worth the money. Lewis chased Katie all over until she was too tired to move. With nobody left to chase, Lewis had no other choice but to eat Katie.
Upstairs, Mila and Ariel worked on the Dora puzzle while Zach, Eliana and Rock worked a the writing center. The trio chatted about what they were creating as they worked. Nerissa busied herself in the art room. Rachel and Reed cooked in the kitchen, swaddled their babies in blankets and tidied up after they were done in th house. After a bit, Isabella asked Anke if she could turn some music on. The children voted for the Beach Boys and proceed to rock out to Surfin’ U.S.A.
Downstairs Ruby cared for her baby, Trinda. She wrapped Trinda in blankets and scarves and set her on the stairs and lovingly said, “Don’t roll off.” Maddy, Chloe and Lewis played in the loft while Cooper morphed into a ferocious tiger. In his down time as a boy, he ran errands for Katie.
Have a good night!
