Cy was the first to arrive today. He started off with play dough and then spotted the cars. He decided to build a ramp and garage for the cars with the wooded blocks. Upon Chloe’s arrival she opened up Fire on the Mountain. Lewis brought a book to share about Lightening McQueen. After Anke read Lewis’s book he joined Cy and Bennett with the cars. Nate used the sewing cards with Chloe and Bella prepared food in the kitchen and then utilized the play dough.
In the locker room Chloe took us all on a bear hunt…
We have to go to the big, big, big scary forest. Get your flashlights. We have to walk. Put the flashlight on. There is a big, big long snake. We have to find a big, big, long stick and fight the snake. There is a big, big, big, big bear by the water. We have to get behind a tree and put on our swimsuits then we have to put our clothes back on. There is a big, big, big shark in the water. Tiptoe past the big, big, big shark. We are done. There is a big, fat, fat castle with a dragon in it. We have to tie the dragon up. We have to put it in a big cage so he doesn’t get out! Because he is mean. Just like my movie, it’s called Shrek. It’s a purple dragon. And put it in the cage and pull down like this. There is a big, big big whale in the water. We just have to put it- we just have to run! We are done with the bear hunt.
Outside, Bella collected snow and made a snowball with Rock’s help. Ariel, Eliana, Hadley, Nerissa and Mila were all kitties who lived in the tower. Oscar, Nate, Cy, Rachel and Reed were all lightening and man were they quick as they sped through the yard! Bennett was a Lightening McQueen snow plow and Lewis a snowplow bulldozer.
We had music with Carolyn today.
