Journal 10-4-11

This morning we had animals all over the school. A pink poodle also known as Chloe, a puppy (Erica), Cooper a tiger and Bella Boo Snow White. The puppy used the crayon melt while the poodle and Keira sat across from her to use our fancy new scissors! Cameron, Chloe and Keira also tested out some watercolors in the Art Room before using cars together. We sang “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Hips” and read Mouse was Mad while Oscar helped Katie get breakfast on the table.

Outside, Bella, Cooper, Zach, Rachel and Rock were fast cheetahs. Isabel, Ariel, Hadley and Erica were at the top of the tower which was their house. Isabel was a “kitty cat that cried” with Hadley as a sister and Ariel as her mommy. Soon Erica and Nerissa set up their ice cream shop and sold tons of ice cream to Miss Hadley. Cameron, Chloe and Keira used the slide. Then Keira joined Bennett to go up and down the bike path in search of a house. After a while a soccer game took place. Bella, Bennett, Cooper and Keira ran and kicked the ball. Cam spent some time building mountains out of bark chips and Isabel, Rock, Ariel and Zach used the bikes.

In the back, Oscar set to work on the crayon melt while Bennett, Nerissa and Erica painted. Soon Nerissa and Erica joined Rachel, Cooper and Hadley in the sandbox. The group piled in and got the job done. Rock and Zach used the easel before heading over to the water buckets with Erica, Nerissa and Isabel.

Inside and upstairs Cam was having a really fun time using the play dough. While he worked he was voicing instructions on how to bake. Ariel dressed as Cinderella, Isabel as Snow White, Chloe the brown howling puppy, and Bella Boo was our pink poodle. Rachel would toss sticks for Bella Boo when she wasn’t busy in the kitchen making gravy with Cooper. Keira helped whoever needed help. She set up a band show with Isabel, Ariel, and Hadley. They needed an audience of which pink poodle Bella Boo gladly became. Keira was part of the audience and a member of the band.

Have a great night!!
