This morning Nerissa, Mila and Rowan cut up beads to use later at the hot gluing station. Meanwhile, Bennett and Aiden drew and colored maps at the writing center and Ruby was busy in the Jurassic sand with Daphne. Together, we sang Down Here in Portland.
When we got outside, Chloe worked to dry off the slide and Maddy to dry off the bikes. With everything dry as it could be Chloe, Daphne and Maddy became hedgehog sisters. Chloe the hedgehog ran super fast due to her fast running tennis shoes. Eliana and Ruby bolted for the bench on the bike path. The two girls chatted a while and then they each hopped on a tricycle. Aiden carefully crafted two swords and brought them outside. Rowan slid down the slide while Nerissa and Mila ran around the yard as Wendy Princesses from Rock, who was Captain Hook. Later, Rock joined Nate and Reed who had occupied the tower as spies. Bennett, Gabby and Anthony took turns on the slide and Seren sat and hung out on a blanket.
In the back, on the deck we had shaving cream! Anthony, Reed, Bennett and Mila all took a tray and took turn getting more and more of the white foam. Nate, Chloe and Rock used the hot gluing station while Rowan and Nerissa poured water. Seren and Eliana each painted a side of the big clear easel with the black paint. When that was done the girls headed over to the water station while Rowan worked to clean that easel! Aiden, Ruby, Maddy, Bennett, Gabby, Mila and Daphne all worked to make cupcakes in the sandbox.
