This morning we took off the fly to Germany with Nerissa as pilot and Nate as copilot. Nerissa was so thoughtful to bring some coffee in for the hardworking pilots. Maddy boarded the plane as we approached her on the highway. Rhys worked on puzzles, while Rowan worked at the writing center before moving to do some work building with blocks. Anthony and Rowan also made a great team, as Anthony helped Rowan with the building blocks, then poured beans.
Outside, Rhys, Collin, Ella, Rowan and Nate hopped on trikes and zoomed along the bike path. Nerissa and Mila rode the trailer bike and went on secret missions as spies. More spies, Reed and Oscar, had a great view for spying from on top of the tower. Chloe and Maddy decided to be monkeys named Coconut and Banana. They also happened to be very good at making ice cream! They shared their creations with Daphne, Ruby and Gabby, the princesses who eat the best ice cream. Anthony enjoyed bouncing the big balls and kicking the little balls. Rhys and Rowan chose the big gray ball to play kick with.
Later on in the back, Reed, Nate, and Oscar dove into water painting. They created an entire universe, so they needed a huge piece of paper! Their universe was complete with Earth and stars fashioned with eyedroppers. Anthony did some artistic creation of his own with shaving cream. He covered the big easel with plenty of the fluffy stuff. The sandbox was also the site of some very interesting delicacies. Nerissa, Mila, Ella and Collin dreamed up and created some delicious banana-chicknana.
When the group returned inside, Oscar, Reed, Rowan, Daphne, and Gaby returned to the airplane for another journey, this time to fantastic Dino City! Rhys tried his hand at some fishing, while Ruby took an opportunity to explore the puzzles.
