This morning Nerissa was cutting at the writing center with Reed. They had a good time trying out new styles of cutting. Did they cut straight, did they cut in circles? Ask them! After trying out cutting for awhile, they became active kittens. A meow here and a meow there, yes it was a cat we heard. Maddy enjoyed golf ball painting in the art room. Shaking the golf balls back and forth made such a lovely pattern! Quite a masterpiece she turned out. Cameron joined her in the art room making a golf ball painting and working with daubbers. Cole had a great time playing with cars and reading books. Gabby came and joined him. What a fun morning everyone had!
In the afternoon Kaito , Ella, Collin, and Cole, rode bikes, keeping up on their biking skills so they can soon enjoy Portland’s wonderful bike paths with their families. What a lovely day to be outside! Mila and Nerissa decided to sell tea and milkshakes at the diner. Nerissa took the orders from the customers while Mila was the honey girl. Those who stopped by had a delicious treat. Reed and Zach decided to go on a mission. They didn’t say what kind or where. Maybe it was a secret. While Cole chilled on a tree stump, Nerissa and Mila decided to close the coffee shop for the night .
In the backyard, Collin, Zach, Nerissa, and Reed started to dig in the sand box. “Let’s find the treasure,” they all said. We didn’t hear if they found it or not. Cameron and Gabby used the small pool with colors in it. They chose green and yellow and discovered that together they made green. They added shaving cream for a fun touch. Later Oscar, Mila, and Cole hot glued. Gabby, Daphne, and Chloe rode a horse to Africa. Gabby got there first. She waited for her friends, and then drew a picture there in Africa. What a grand day we all had together.
Have a great night!
