Chloe arrived and set to work with the legos while Cam delicately shaped chocolate chip cookies out of play dough. When Bennett arrived he sat with Chloe to construct an elevator out of the colored legos. Aiden quickly plucked the car basket from the shelf and took it to the black carpet where he searched for planes. Cooper walked past Aiden on his way to draw and create at the writing center. Cy was very busy with the shape puzzles. When Maddy arrived she met Chloe in the kitchen to cook while Nerissa and Cam used dauber paints in the art room.
Outside, Ruby, Chloe, Maddy and Eliana used the slide one right after another. Then the girls climbed to the top of the tower to play the “I don’t know game.” Rock was a sword holder whose presence was requested at the “I don’t know game.” Rock declined. The girls then attempted to get him to play the “Nothing game” which he declined as well. Meanwhile, Cooper, Cam, Bennett and Cy bounced on the big balls while Nerissa cruised around the bike path on the trailer bike with Reed on the back.
The children were delighted to go to the back where water, paint and the sandbox were all waiting. Ruby, Eliana, Nate, Aiden and Reed poured at the water tubs while Bennett and Cy worked in the sandbox. Chloe, Maddy and Cooper rode trikes and Nerissa painted on the easel on the deck. Rock and Cam stood at the hot glue station constructing master pieces.
