Lewis and Bella built a house out of magnetic shapes this morning. They even had a spot to park cars in the house. Cy hung out in the bear cave then he set to work stacking blocks. Chloe sat right down at the writing center. Rachel, Nerissa and Bella joined her. The foursome busily stuck stickers to paper. Later, Cy came and sat with the girls. He was drawing a tattoo inspired by the one Lewis had on his arm while Lewis shared with his friends, “My dad, he works in a hospital. He helps people who feel sad. Sometimes he can’t, because the people are too sad.”
When we got outside Cy, Nate and Rock dueled each other with paper swords. Ariel, Eliana, Seren and Mila set up an ice-cream shop. The girls solicited friends and teachers alike to some of their cold, delicious cream. Oscar manned the top of the tower while Chloe, Bennett and Maddy took turns at the slide. The bike pathe was home to Nerissa, Reed and Bella who were all on trikes or the scooter. Eventually Bella offered up giving rides on the trailer bike to anyone who wanted one.
Carolyn came today for music we sang “Five Little Donuts,” “Five Little Skunks” and some others.
