Tuesday April 8th 2014
What a beautiful day today is turning out to be. Cameron had fun being our waiter and cook for our restaurant, while Vivian decided to make a wonderful book in the writing center. Vivian brought in some special pictures from home and then joined everyone for breakfast.
Anthony, Ella, Collin, and Riley enjoyed playing with some hand held windmills, which they blew air into. Then they ran with the windmills, while letting the air blow them around. All their friends joined in and enjoyed the fun of windmill play. Alex was a fabulous windmill blower who crashed on occasion.
Bronwen found some white paint, glue, glitter, feathers, and tissue paper to form a great work of art. Bronwen and Emma engaged in talk of the new babies on their way at each of their homes.
Later Vivian, Emma, and Bronwen were engaging in pretend play, enjoying being mermaids and fast running princesses.
The kids transitioned to backyard time and Cam, Collin, Kaito, and Riley found digging and making muck in the sand box to be fun and exciting. Maddy, Alex, and Vivian took time to super clean the stairs and had fun seeing their hard work. Then Emma, Ella, and Bronwen used some water paints and white crayons to create a wonderful outdoor scene.
Anthony used the water pump, while Ben was on the bike path, seeing how much fun Anthony was having, Ben came over to help with the water pump.
The kids had a wonderful day in this great sunny weather and much fun was had by all.
