Journal 4-6-12

When Lewis arrived he brought with him a book about Thomas the Train. He excitedly showed it to Anke and all of his friends as they arrived.  With the book within reach, Lewis set up the cars with Zach.  When the boys were done with the cars they busily worked with the legos to build a house, monster truck and racecar. Cameron arrived and made use of the abandoned cars. He was sure to find all of the fastest ones to show Lewis and Zach- who agreed that Cam had a good eye and those were the fastest ones.   Aiden arrived, saw the basket of vehicles and dug out the airplanes which he flew all around the school.  When Cooper and Rachel saw each other they silently hugged and walked into the art room to hot glue.

Outside, Ariel and Mila became kitties. The two kitties decided to go camping and happened into some jaguars (Cooper and Rachel). Each cat acknowledged the other and eventually they went their separate ways.  Aiden made good use of the slide while Chloe and Maddy were ducks- quacking about the yard. Eliana and Nerissa climbed to the top of the tower. Once there, the girls became pirates on the high sea. Seren and Reed requested a towel and made a door for their home in the lower part of the play structure. Once he saw their humble abode, Rock joined the duo increasing the family to three members. Lewis drove around as a dump truck and Cam was on his heals as an underwear pirate.

In the back, everyone was delighted at the opportunity to dye an egg.  Once that was accomplished, Aiden, Cam, Nerissa and Eliana worked to dig, build and sculpt with the wet, grainy sand in the sandbox.  Rock, Reed and Zach cleaned the house- way to go boys! Eliana, Cooper, Ariel, Chloe and Maddy waited for the dye to be cleared and a paint project set up.  Then they each got busy painting with a roller. Meanwhile, Lewis, Rachel, Mila and Seren poured water.

Have a great Easter weekend!!
