A huge bridge was constructed by Cy and Cam first thing this morning. They used the wooden pieces on the table to make a super tall bridge. Parts of the bridge kept falling and so new ideas were implemented to get the bridge completed. Meanwhile, Chloe, Maddy and Ruby were in the art room. The girls were painting with pink paint, shaving cream and purple glitter. Afterwards, Maddy and Chloe went to the kitchen to cook with Bennett while Ruby headed to the bean tub. Nate worked with the sewing cards and Cooper sat at the writing center.
As soon as we got outside Maddy and Ruby joined hands and walked around the bike path. They were searching for jobs. Bennett and Cam, who was a fireman, climbed to the top of the tower. Nerissa, Cy, Nate, Eliana and Cooper all swarmed to the dirt near the bike path in search of worms. Once a huge one was found Cooper jumped on a bike and rode it round and round the path and Bennett joined him. While all of this was going on, Rock and Collin were sitting next to each other on the bench chanting, “Chitty, bang, bang. Chitty, bang, bang.” Eventually, Chloe and Maddy requested clipboards and began making maps while they walked around the front yard.
When the back was opened up, Chloe and Maddy stepped into the sandbox and requested water for their pans. The girls had become penguins and had some stirring to do. Cy, Nate, Cam and Bennett made brownies in the huge metal tub in the sandbox while Bennett, Cooper and Ruby made shaving cream paintings on the deck. Later, Cooper found himself a spot at the water tubs with Collin, Nerissa and Eliana. As the foursome worked you could hear “Da da de. Shaving cream.” “Oh yeah, big baby!” and “Ca na nah ne…” Rock and Ruby worked at the hot glue station until they decided to join Cy and Nate in the sandbox to grind sand and make a castle.
