This morning Maddy and Chloe worked hard in the kitchen while Cy utilized the cars and blocks. When the cars and blocks were put away Cy loaded a baby and bottle up in the stroller and went for a walk. Cam poured beans with Ruby until Ruby wandered over to the table to use the vertical track and wooden car and Cam got busy in the kitchen. Breakfast came and went and we headed outside where Maddy became a dog. Chloe was her mom, of course! Cam climbed to the top of the tower where he was a pirate. Bennett climbed to the top of the tower, too, which became his spaceship and he a spaceman. The boys imagined their separate adventures side by side for a long time. Cy and Nate crawled about as tarantulas. Collin and Cooper were quick on their feet as jaguars in search of bugs and lizards to eat. Ruby and Nerissa each sat on a big ball and bounced to their hearts content.
In the back, Cam, Cy and Bennett happily clambered into the sandbox. The echo’s of “More water!” could be heard throughout the yard. Meanwhile, Nerissa, Collin, Nate and Rock poured water in the buckets and Ruby poured water alone on the deck. Cooper, Chloe, Maddy and Nerissa headed inside to work on a special project with Anke.
