This morning Cooper busied himself with the hot gluing station. He worked hard at gluing items to different items. Erica was busy too- working with the crayon melt. She sang “ding ding ding” as she melted the crayons. Oscar arrived and requested Anke help him make paper air planes. The two worked at the writing center and then tested their creations- careful to get the perfect stance before letting their airplane soar into the air. Chloe asked for Pluto and then built him a house out of the magnetic shapes while Nate put together many puzzles.
When we got outside, Bennett morphed into a bad dragon. He chased after Reed and Erica who happily ran away in “fear.” Maddy, Eliana, Cam, Zach and Nate helped Anke set up the back. When the back was set up, they invited Nerissa, Mila, Collin and Rock to use dauber paints with them on the deck. Afterwards, Collin painted on the big plastic easel while Oscar and Cooper painted together on the paper easel to make a picture for Anke. Meanwhile, Erica raced around the bike path.
Inside, Nerissa and Eliana stood at the hot glue station working diligently to get things glued into place. Mila became a kitty and talked on the phone with her kitty friends. She was interrupted by her mom, Erica, who had picked out clothes for kitty Mila and insisted on helping her get into them. Rock, Collin, Zach, Cam and Nate tended to the babies. Rock was the dad and guided the other boys along. Together the boys cooked up a feast, fed the babies and then one by one placed them into the dungeon… Rock sang to his baby as he held it in his arms before placing it in the dungeon. Collin tried to rescue a baby from the dungeon but the other boys told him the baby had to stay otherwise Collin could be trapped in the dungeon too.
