This morning Daphne worked at the writing center. Afterwards she joined Cole and Chloe to paint and hot glue. Meanwhile, Nerissa busily pieced together the pirate floor puzzle. When that was accomplished Nerissa headed to the art room with Cam to paint. When Chloe was done in the art room she opened up the store.
Bounce died last night. We read Saying Goodbye to Elfie. We had a memorial for Bounce. The children had lots of words to share:
Maddy: I love you Bounce.
Nerissa: I miss you.
Daphne: Love you.
Ruby: Bounce I love you.
Chloe: I love you Bounce and I miss you.
Nate: I am sad that you died but I love you.
Eliana: I miss you.
Oscar: I love you.
Cam: I want to say to Bounce I am sad.
Rock: Bounce even though you are dead we can still celebrate you. You are are the bestest bunny in the whole wide world.
Cecy: I know you lived a very happy life and you will be in the heart of the memories of everyone.
Outside, Anthony played with Ava, who was a mama sparkle bear named Fairy Sparkles. They spent some time walking and hiding out in the black tube. Cam sold ice cream with Maddy. Suddenly the ice cream shop transformed into a ship and Chloe climbed aboard with Cole and Oscar. Rock and Nate swam by as baby sharks. Ruby and Daphne swam by too, they were dolphins. Zach watched from shore as he was a cheetah. A little while later, Nerissa, Eliana and Anthony walked around the bike path conga style.
When the back was opened the children gathered on the deck to paint with feathers and an assortment of objects. Afterwards Chloe and Maddy rode the horse while Zach and Cole wandered over to the sandbox. Reed and Oscar decided to pour water.
