This morning Cy, Bennett and Lewis happily surrounded the black carpet with the cars. Each car, plane and truck had it’s special place to park and to drive or fly. Bella and Chloe fed the fish for us today then Bella sat at the writing center creating post office signs with Rachel while Chloe got busy in the art room with the dauber paints.
In the front Lewis, Nate and Bennett were race cars. After racing around for a while Nate turned into a bumble bee. Cy joined him as did Rock who was previously a guinea pig named Bugsy. Reed kicked the big ball around before joining forces with Rachel and Bella as Power Rangers. Nerissa handed out movie tickets to Ariel, Eliana and Mila then the foursome settled in to watch a movie and with popcorn. When the movie was over Eliana found Seren and Hadley who were kitties and became a kitty too. Chloe and Bennett went camping and Oscar was a ninja.
In the back Nerissa, Cy, Rock and Lewis dug in the sandbox. On the deck Eliana, Reed, Ariel and Mila painted with wooded shapes while Nate painted the easel on the deck. Bennett and Rachel painted on the other easel and then washed it clean.
Soon the children opted for upstairs and downstairs time. Upstairs, Ariel, Mila and Nerissa were Katie’s special helpers and boy, did they get the job done! Downstairs, Oscar was a ninjago and appointed Cy and Anke ninjas as well. Cy was Kai, who is a red fire ninja, and Anke was Jade. Seren named herself princess Aurora and Eliana a princess too. Bennett was a superhero, big mikey, Nate was king of the superheroes and Rock was Mister King. Chloe, who was Clarkely, busily played with the tinker toys while Lewis worked as a firefighter. Rachel, Reed and Bella were kitties in the loft constantly getting more milk from the kitchen and Hadley worked on the puzzles.
