This morning Cole and Lewis were very busy building a race track out of blocks for the cars. Once that was perfect the cars zoomed around the track. Meanwhile, Chloe, Daphne and Cole fashioned candy canes out of pipe cleaners. Afterwards the trio headed to the art room to paint. After breakfast we sang “Jingle Bells,” “If You Love Me” and “Cupid’s Arrow” before heading outside.
When we got outside Maddy and Chloe immediately transformed into beavers and Ruby, Ava, Cole, Gabby and Daphne all became hyenas. Rock, Lewis and Nate were running around giggling while Reed, Oscar and Zach were making things out of imaginary parts. Eliana, Nerissa, Cam and Anthony tossed a big ball around.
On the bike path, Cole was riding a trike while singing Christmas songs and Daphne and Maddy were riding to the mall. Ruby was about to give Ava a ride on the trailer bike, when a scary cheetah approached them. Both girls abandoned the bike and ran their fastest. After a while, Chloe and Maddy met up again to play giraffes.
When we headed to the back, Chloe and Maddy ran for the sandbox. Eliana, Cole, Ruby, Daphne and Ava excitedly crowded around the table to paint with stamps and green and yellow paint. Anthony painted on the easel. Rock, Nate and Lewis occupied the little house and Reed, Oscar and Zach hung out on the bike path talking.
