This morning, Dean got out the magnetic shapes and made a “b” cake for himself! After enjoying his cake, he made a map for his travels. Vivian was also hard at work, but she was worked on her beading project to make a magnificent necklace. Alex came in and decided to start off today as a giraffe! Dean agreed this was a fantastic idea and joined him. Then, Alex went with Dean to pick up a new worm at the store. Asha came in and wanted to join in the dress-up fun. She wanted to be a pig. She got decked out in her pig costume, then took a baby on a walk. She passed by Alex the giraffe, who had gotten out the Lego’s and started building. He also added the magnetic shapes to make a track. In no time at all the track was ready and cars were zooming along.
Camille and Vivian made their way over to the art room. They found the water paint and crayons ready and waiting for them. Asha had returned from her walk with the baby, so she joined in the fun and made her own beautiful picture.
In the front Riley started a dance party and danced all over the yard! Camille and Bronwen ran over to the balance beam and worked on their balancing skills together. Ella Jude was busy sliding down the slide, while Riley and Asha joined in the fun with the balance beam, watching their friends as they waited their turn to try. Dean marched into the house to take care of the cones. Ava and Maddy were upstairs in the house. Ava was a periwinkle sister and Maddy was the fairy mother.
Vivian, Maddy, and Rhys went for the bikes, hopped on and started riding around at lightning fast speeds! Ava was also in on the bike path fun. She and Maddy wanted to go faster than the Earth. They didn’t know where they were going, but they did not let that stop them! Vivian was going “very, very fast.” Bronwen and Camille were riding their bikes to the farm. Alex was also very speedy! He was working on his running and zipping back and forth from the bike path to the bark chips. Rhys jumped off his bike and ran with Alex over to the leaf pile. He joined in with Ben for a great time playing in the leaves.
In the back, the sandbox was very busy! Vivian and Bronwen were working together. Dean jumped in, dug a marvelous hole and had a seat to try it out. Camille joined the sandbox crew. They made a whole house! Dean was in charge of the big dump truck and dumped it out like a pro. Ben helped out as well. When they were done, they were very hungry, so they worked together to bake a cake to snack on. Bronwen baked a cake as well, then sweetly sang a happy birthday song for herself!
On the deck, Asha painted at the big easel with bright blue paint. Ella Jude was at the plastic easel working on her masterpiece. Maddy and Ava took a turn after her and got their creative skills going. Also on the deck were water paints, chalk, and leaves for painting. Riley and Alex got to painting, they added some stenciling to their art. Nearby at the water station, Rhys was having a blast scooping and pouring the warm, sudsy water.
