This morning Cy started out with the legos. When Cam arrived he headed straight for the beans where Cy joined him. Cam found some links to play with and only Cy remained at the bean tub. Before long, Chloe, Ruby and Erica arrived and the foursome stood shoulder to shoulder at that tub. After a while the girls sat at the writing center where Chloe made a Grinch. Cy and Nate built an airport out of the blocks. Nerissa and Erica helped with breakfast.
After breakfast, while we were in the lockerroom, Nerissa took us on a lion hunt. We walked three miles on our hunt with our map in hand. When we finally found that lion we headed outside where Nerissa, Erica and Eliana became kittens. The kittens danced and jumped up and down at the top of the tower. Cy was a kitty also, but a little more tame 🙂 Rock was a dinosaur and Collin a fast runner. Chloe and Maddy grabbed a map, some pizza, a backpack, Ruby and Bennett and headed on a journey. Cameron became a pirate and Reed an American Falcon.
Later in the day, we played upstairs and downstairs. Rock and Collin used the blocks downstairs while Maddy and Chloe played football. Bennett brought some ramps and blocks up to the loft where he used them to construct bigger ramps. Cy tended to Ruby and the babies in the kitchen and then he became a dinosaur with special walking sticks.
Upstairs, Nerissa, Erica and Eliana set up a picnic in the bear cave. Their picnic was quite the feast and contained every kind of food imaginable! Hadley used the crayon melt and then headed over to do some puzzles with Cam and Reed. Nate poured the beans and then made good use of our writing center.
