Monday morning came and it was time for more travels! This time Nerissa created airplane tickets for the group of adventurers. While Nerissa was busy at the writing center with the tickets, Rhys also chose to work on some writing. He filled his page with purple circles and cheerfully counted them. Maddy got her creative juices flowing in the art room. Out in front, another group of artists were hard at work. Nerissa, Eliana and Nate skillfully decorated the path with chalk designs of all colors.
In the midst of the artists we had a visit from royalty! Ruby, Ella, Gabby, and Ava graced us with their presence as Disney princesses. They lounged and chatted in the black tube as only elegant princesses can. Rowan and Collin also used their imaginations to change their identity. The two boys transformed into tigers and prowled stealthily through their jungle home. Anthony got the ball rolling with some soccer. He also used his hands to play some catch. Amongst the artists, athletes, princesses and tigers we also had some musicians! Rhys and Reed sang beautiful songs with Cecy.
Later, the bike path was buzzing. Ava, Gabby, Maddy, and Chloe hopped on their trusty bikes and pedaled like there was no tomorrow. Although the bike path was quite busy, Ruby and Eliana were not concerned. With Eliana as mommy and Ruby as baby, the two girls painted their nails to perfection.
In the sandbox, it was time to get messy. Ella, Collin, Rowan, and Chloe dug into their work, scooping, pouring, observing and creating. Rhys, Anthony, and Nerissa added to the fun by pouring and experimenting with water. The rest of the bunch moved inside for more travels. Ava and Gabby brought the babies along for the airplane adventure. Chloe and Maddy made a great team working together to solve puzzles and enjoying their time together. After puzzle time, most of the group settled in for a relaxing read of their favorite books.
