Good afternoon,
It was another busy day at the big house as the children arrived and got busy for the day. Ella and Collin were the first to arrive and went straight to the grocery store and got themselves ready for a special picnic treat. A short while later, Kaito joined in on the picnic fun. Meanwhile, Riley got the Legos out and began to build a basement while Cameron made a giant sandwich with lots of different and very tall breads and Dean made a very important phone call.
Outside the bike path was busy as usual, as Ben, Alex, Vivian and Emma all rode bikes on the bike path. Emma was fortunate to get a ride on the trail bike as Vivian totted her around. Elsewhere, many of the children decided to be superheroes. Collin and Kaito were Astronauts at first and then became Batman and Flash while Cameron, Jack and Maddy were Herminie. Ava, Vivian and Emma joined in this game but instead of being super heroes they decided to be other characters. Ava was Applegrape the dragon princess, Vivian was a fairy and Emma was Ariel the little mermaid.
A short while later, the children finished being super heroes, princesses and fairies and explored other parts of the playground. Cameron, Ella, Riley, and Maddy took turns sliding down the slide like cannon balls. Later, Cameron and Maddy took a ride on ship and got caught up in the middle of storm. Several children ventured over to the tree forest. Kaito and Collin hid amongst the trees while Vivian, Bronwen and Ava made a house out of the trees. Later, they joined in a game of hide and seek with Anthony and Rhys.
After outdoor play we all came inside for some free play before lunch. Anke put in a beach boys CD and Ella, Cameron, Maddy and Rhys started dancing to the music. After dancing, Ella became the beautiful princess Snow White, Ava made a necklace with beads and string and Riley and Bronwen got busy making tea and salsa for the beautiful princess in the kitchen.
Downstairs, Dean and Ben practiced for a concert. Dean played the maracas and Ben played the accordion. Kaito, Collin, and Alex built train tracks while Vivian and Alex took care of their babies and prepared food for their babies and teacher in their restaurant.
