This morning, big kindergartner Nerissa helped her friends make swords. When Anthony arrived she grabbed his hand and said to Tami, “Anthony likes me.” with a big smile on her face. Meanwhile, Bennett worked on a racetrack for racecars at the writing center and Mila and Rowan put together puzzles. Chloe was our Clarkely dog in the art room.
Chloe sang a kitty song for us out front. It started off with “Down by the meadow in a little pond…” Ruby and Gabby moved into the tower and took turns being the mommy or the baby while Nerissa got some solitude in the black tube. Chloe, Bennett and Maddy were super kitties. Eliana, Reed and Mila were an eagle family with Mila as the baby, Reed as the dad and Eliana as the mom. Anthony used the slide while Aiden was Mr. Incredible and Rowan a ninja. Rock helped us make more paper swords. He shared an idea to tape leaves to the top. Pretty fun!
In the back, Bennett and Maddy were in the sandbox with the dump trucks. The trucks kept going in and out of jail. Ruby, Gabby and Aide made cakes and muck in the sandbox. Chloe was in the sandbox too as a kitty cat racecar and Reed worked to hide the little blue ball from his friends. After that Reed hopped on trike and attempted to go up the hill without stopping. He made it twice around! Rock wandered over and activated the red light. While cars were stopped at the red light Rock handed out chocolates. Mila and Eliana cleaned out the little house so that they could make their beds and get some rest.
