This morning, Ariel and Nerissa kicked off their morning in the art room. The girls utilized the paint, glue and confetti to make bright pictures. Bennett and Cameron settled down on the black rug with cars, blocks and the magnetic shapes. Bennett built a garage out of the magnets while Cameron built a long road out of blocks. Within a few minutes, the boys had brought their work together to create a racetrack. Maddy arrived, headed for the writing center and remained focused until Chloe arrived. Aiden sat down at the table and worked with the Legos. After he had built several structures, Aiden grabbed the helicopters and airplanes and headed for the sand bucket.
In the front, Aiden snatched the bucket of chalk and raced down to the bike path. Zach, Collin and Rock headed for the top of the play structure where they morphed into big, bad pirates. Nerissa and Reed accompanied Anke in the back yard where they helped her set up the paint, sandbox and hot glue station. Maddy and Chloe hung out on the bridge on the bike path while Cameron and Bennett hid out in the black tube.
In the back, Maddy, Chloe, Bennett, Cameron, Collin, Zach, Bella, Rachel and Reed piled into the sand box. Meanwhile, Nerissa and Rock painted at the table while Ariel and Aiden hot glued. After a while, Maddy and Chloe joined Nerissa and Rock at the table to paint. Rock told his teachers scary stories of princesses and dragons while Isabella and Rachel worked in the water buckets.
After a while, the children asked that we head indoors to play both upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs, the children played dress-up, at the writing center, in the doctor’s office or with the various toys on the shelves. Downstairs, the kids took care of the babies, baked cakes, read stories and built train tracks with train stations.
Have a good night!
