Cam dug right into the clay this morning. Then Anke got out paint, paper, paint scrappers and SHAVING CREAM! Cam couldn’t decide what to do. He kept going back and forth, back and forth. When Ruby and Bennett arrived they each grabbed a scrapper and began transferring paint and shaving cream from the dish onto their papers. Rock worked diligently on a card for Tami at the writing center. While he worked he told his friends about a song book he has been working on. Cooper, Nate and Nerissa listened intently as they worked on their own master pieces. Chloe and Maddy happily danced around the school.
Outside, Chloe, Ruby and Maddy became dogs who ran all over and Nate transformed into an elephant. Cooper was a bear who was after Rock and Collin. The bear ran past Zach who promptly told Anke, “I was bouncing on the ball and he tried to scare me away but I didn’t be scared. Write that down for the journal, Anke.” Oscar defended his friends and began to fight with the big bear. While the bear was busy with Oscar, Rock, Zach and Collin made “real sugar!” to try to tempt the bear with next time he came near.
Bennett cruised around the yard as Lightening McQueen and Cam was busy with his job as a fireman. Nerissa became a baby and Mila and Seren quickly volunteered to be her mommies. Afterwards, Seren pedaled the trailer bike and offered rides to Bennett and Cam. Nate and Oscar patiently waited for their turn for a ride on the trailer bike. Cooper, Mila and Maddy took turns riding bikes and being the gas guy.
In the back, Cam, Bennett, Oscar and Copper hung out in the sandbox. Maddy and Chloe painted the easel with shaving cream and paint while everyone else crowded around the table on the deck to use paint and shaving cream. At the sound of “More shaving cream please!” “More shaving cream please!” Anke requested assistance in squirting the cream from Nerissa and Mila who happily obliged.
