Journal April 18th 2014
Hello Parents. Happy Sunny Friday!
Today was a great day. Dean came in ready to do the crayon melt. Ben soon joined him at the crayon melt. Elsa enjoyed painting this morning. Bronwen was making balls with play dough. Rhys listened to Tikki Tikki Tembo with great enthusiasm and also enjoyed using the play dough. Asha and Bronwen then used the writing center as they discussed how they would play with one another. Luca painted eagerly with the paint scrapers, while Camille, Asha, and Bronwen moved their attention to the kitchen and babies.
We transitioned out to the front yard where Dean, Alex, and Ella played soccer. Bronwen, Camille, and Asha enjoyed going down the slide and taking turns doing so. Ben, Turner, and Rhys played riding bikes on the bike path.
Later we moved out to the back yard where Vivian, Maddy, Bronwen, Camille, Alex, Turner, Asha, and Kaito all played in the sandbox. They were doing all sorts of fun things, from making cakes and castles, to digging for treasures and buildings. Ava and Elsa moved over to the hot gluing station and made some cool stuff for their mommies. Then Turner, Dean, and Luca began being fire fighters and watching over everyone. Ben and Rhys worked together on some golf ball painting.
All the children had a wonderful day and enjoyed this great weather.
