This morning the children arrived to discover that the dramatic play area was set up as beauty salon. Dean and Cameron came ready to style some hair. They opened up their hair place and got ready for their customers. Dean worked the cash register and scheduled appointments and Anthony assisted him. Riley arrived and headed straight to the hair shop. She picked up a hair dryer and began to blow dry Anke’s hair. Collin and Ella arrived and decided to try on some of the wigs. While they were trying on the wigs, Riley started to blow dry their hair. Awhile later, Cameron left the hair shop and headed over to the art room. Maddy arrived and joined Cameron in the art room. The two of them used glue guns to create some amazing pieces of art. Over at the table, Alex and Vivian were building houses with the Legos.
Outside the children turned into all sorts of characters. Maddy and Ella were beautiful princesses while Emma and Vivian were hopping frogs. Around and around the playground they hopped. Kaito was the Great Ninja Turtle and Collin was the very, very strong Hulk and Dean was a brave firefighter. Bronwen and Anthony were themselves and took turns climbing up the rock wall and sliding down the slide. Over on the bike path, Alex, Ben, Braeden were racing around the path on their speedy bikes while Vivian gave Emma a ride on the trailer bike.
Around back Alex, Riley and Emma were painting with golf balls. The golf balls rolled back and forth in the box as they spread the paint around the paper making colorful designs. Over at the easels Maddy and Cameron were painting beautiful pictures for their mom and dad while Kaito, Bronwen, Collin and Dean were busy digging up buried treasure in the sandbox.
