Chloe and Daphne began their morning at the writing center with stencils. When Maddy arrived she, Daphne and Chloe watched the baby chicks. As they watched them the girls spoke to each other in Spanish. “The chickens say buenas dias” “Como esta?” “Muy bien.” Meanwhile Lewis constructed with the wooden blocks. He built a fire truck and a teeter totter that “boomed up.” Cole worked with the play dough. Before we headed outside, Lewis shared his Lego book.
In the front, Ruby was a riding girl mastering the rock wall while Ava aka Butterfly and Daphne aka Rosie were riding rock stars. Seren was a guinea pig. Rock was Bugsy. Chloe and Maddy were ewoks named Wicked. Zach, Reed and Rowan were Ben Ten Heroes. Cole, Kaito and Lewis rode bikes.
Rock went on a treasure hunt with Lewis to Alaska. When the pair returned from their travels Rock became a baby with Reed, Zach and Rowan. The baby was constantly on the run. Meanwhile Lewis joined Kaito and Cole who were building guys. Ruby, Daphne and Ava went on a picnic. Seren, Eliana and Mila each grabbed a basket and went shopping.
We had music today. We sang “Can you do what I do?” and many other songs with Carolyn.
