First thing this morning, Isabella got busy cutting red and green strips of paper and then she made a counting chain which she excitedly held up to show her friends as they arrived. Isabella remained at the writing center and was joined by Ariel, Nerissa and Ruby who all made pictures using markers and stickers. Lewis arrived and immediately played with the cars then he headed over to build with the magnetic shapes and tinker toys with Seren. We read a story about an old lady who swallowed some snow, ate breakfast and headed outside to the beautiful winter morning.
Keira and Ruby ran for the slide while Lewis and Reed opted for the big balls. Seren became a Christmas kitty- meowing about. Bella and Rachel remained themselves atop the tower. Zach and Rock, however, morphed into ninjas and Ariel, Mila and Nerissa were mommies and babies.
In the back the girls worked on pinecone ornaments with Reed. Then Reed climbed into the sandbox with Lewis, Zach, Ariel and Mila to dig and search for treasure. Afterwards, Seren, Nerissa, Reed and Eliana used the crayon melt. Rachel and Bella used the easel then they joined Keira and Ariel on a bug hunt. The foursome found millipedes, worms, snails and slugs!
