Chloe and Zach couldn’t get enough of the costumes this morning. They were tigers, pink poodles and ducks. When Cameron arrived he got busy with the fire station. Some of us gathered around and we read the book Never Talk to Strangers. Meanwhile Erica and Isabel utilized the writing center and Nate was in the art room. Nate made good use of the dauber paints, glue, beans, glitter and other things to craft himself a puppet complete with hair, eyes and clothes! Zach and Oscar helped Katie get breakfast on the table.
In the front, Cooper, Oscar and Rachel were lion-raccoons while Cameron was a bird. Erica, Nerissa, Rock and Isabel each made bear maps and then headed off on a bear hunt. The starting point was the house at the bottom of the play structure. As the children journeyed on their way Eliana and Seren joined in. Chloe, Cameron and Mila sang songs with Anke. Bennett helped Katie make coffee and locate a recipe for pumpkin bread. Then he did some sliding.
In the back Isabel, Cooper, Zach, Nerissa, Cameron, Nate, Bennett and Oscar all used multiple containers, pitchers and jars to pour and explore colored water and shaving cream. Afterwards Oscar found the hot glue gun and went to work. Seren and Erica painted on the easel and then used shaving cream.
Have a good night!!
