Erica and Keira started their morning out in the Art Room with paints and then moved on to clay. Chloe put on the giraffe costume and sat at the fire station to play with Cy. When Ruby arrived she said a quick “Good Morning Anke” then she headed off to the Art Room to paint, giggling as she worked. Bennett came in and got busy with the cars before joining Cy at the fire station. Hadley dressed as the pink poodle and tended to the babies. Cooper dressed as a tiger. We sang “Down here in Portland” and read about the changing leaves.
After breakfast we put on our boots and jackets and headed outside into the fabulous Oregon weather. We stomped and marched, at the request of Cy, in the rain. A little rain didn’t stop Hadley, Nerissa and Erica from using the chalk. Isabel, Hadley, Cooper and Rock, however, opted to hang out together in the play structure. Keira, Bennett and Rock jumped on a bike and rode them around the bike path. Ruby and Chloe hung out with Katie and Anke.
After a little while we came back in. Immediately Chloe dressed as the pink poodle and Cy, Bennett and Rock worked busily at the fire station. Nerissa, Cooper, Erica and Ruby headed to the Art Room to paint. Keira used the clay and then went to the Writing Center with Cooper and Isabel. When the job was done at the Writing Center, Isabel (dressed as Snow White) and Cooper tended to the babies. Hadley worked to link chains together at the table then did some painting with Rock. Ruby, Keira and Chloe put puzzles together and took them apart again.
