The people behind the care
Our Team
Children thrive with teachers who know them well. Our small-house model supports consistent relationships, close supervision, and attentive care throughout the day.
Team members complete early-childhood development training, first-aid certification, Oregon Child Care Registry requirements, and ongoing professional education. Our teachers listen, communicate, sing, read, model respectful behavior, and help each child grow at their own pace.
Leadership & Office
Cindy Wiederhold
Owner / Director
Cindy has worked with children for more than thirty years. Her study with Bev Bos reinforced her belief that children need space to experience nature, create, explore, and learn through real life. That philosophy guides the rich, hands-on environments at each house.

Nick Apa
Financial Administrator / Substitute Teacher
Nick began helping In A Child’s Path with maintenance projects while still in high school and later moved into the office while pursuing studies in business, accounting, and computer science. He also supports the houses as a substitute teacher.

Jacob Wiederhold
Office Administrator / Substitute Teacher
Jacob was one of the program’s first graduates and has supported projects across the sites for years. He keeps office systems running smoothly, helps families stay connected, and supports classrooms as a substitute teacher.
